Let’s Stay Home

We usher in 2021 with a new perspective on and appreciation for being home. As more than just a roof over our heads, home improves our quality of life—emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually.

What have you found yourself doing more of since being quarantined? If you’re like me, it’s cleaning and decluttering. Spotless and tidier rooms look great, but what they represent means even more.

In the book The Nine Rooms of Happiness, rooms are life reminders:

Living & Dining Room — socialize — to not just reunite, but reconnect.

Office — career — to be driven by what’s fulfilling and not just finances.

Bedroom — intimacy — to be complete as a complement to others.

Kitchen — nourishment — to eat for sustainability and not substance.

Bathroom — beauty — to be well in mind and soul to exude it.

These life rooms can get a little messy at times. So while we stay home more, let’s “clean house” shall we?
