Winter Transition for Owner- Occupied Staging

The advantage of having an owner-occupied staged to sell property is that one can transition their staging with each season so buyers get a fresh view and perspective relevant to seasonal emotions.

The transition from warm autumn to winter brings an opportunity to boost your home’s sell appeal with a palette that speaks to cool and cozy.

Your staged property should feature mostly neutrals but swapping in some winter tones via textiles such as pillows, throw blankets, small area rugs make for a simple and smooth transition. A white wreath on the front door and pop of wintery table decor and artwork here and there ushers the buyer in to that snuggly winter feel and vibe.

Consider a palette that includes shades of silver, white, sapphire, black, emerald green, charcoal, navy, light-blue gray, and chocolate brown for example.

Light the fireplace for open houses and showings for the cherry on top.

Tip: For spring and summer transition to pops of pastel and bright decor and accessories that don’t overpower the neutrals but blend in to create a space full of energy and rejuvenation.
