Red, White, and Blue Eco-Friendly Fun

Fourth of July and red, white, and blue are all-American. Make it even more festive this year with DIY, eco-friendly fun your family and friends will enjoy no matter where you all celebrate.

Scavenger Hunt. Headed to the park? Cut red, white and blue biodegradable paper in the shape of flags and hide them around park. The one who finds the most flags wins!

Colored Sand Castles. Going to the beach? Bring some sustainable red, white, and blue sand and make a sand castle statement to stand out among the rest.

Patriotic Bikes. Staying home? Decorate your bikes with red, white, and blue eco-friendly balloons, streamers, pom-poms, flags and such.  Go for a bike ride and show your “proud to be an American” spirit. Make it a contest and get the neighbors to join in the fun.

Last, but not least, don’t forget to recycle and repurpose.
